Abdulsamad Humaidan (Ph.D. Candidate in Language, Literacies, and Culture – Southern Illinois University Carbondale, USA), is the Chair of AYAP Research and Publications Committee and he has been serving in different research and publication professional roles since 2019. Mr. Humaidan joined the Professional Publications Committee – Association of Teacher Educators (ATE) – in 2020 and was a member of the ATE Professional Publications Committee that reviewed, interviewed, and selected the editorial board for the Action in Teacher Education Journal. He was also a MIDTESOL Journal Assistant (2019-2021) where he helped with checking manuscripts formatting before publication. Mr. Humaidan is also a reviewer of manuscripts for several journals in his field including TESOL Quarterly- Brief Reports (5-year Impact Factor: 4.66); Literacy Research Journal (5-year Impact Factor:3.2); Theory, Method, and Practice Journal; Asia TEFL Journal -Brief Reports; and MIDTESOL Journal. He has also reviewed +200 conference proposals for several professional organizations including Literacy Research Association (+45 proposals); American Educational Research Association (AERA) (+50 proposals); TESOL International Association (+50 proposals); and the Association of Teacher Educators (+20 proposals).
